Apply for the Older Youth Awards and Trips!  We have Space Camp, Wisconsin 4-H and Youth Conference in Madison, WI, Citizen Washington Focus in Washington DC, the American Spirit Leadership Program on the East Coast, National 4-H Conference, in Washington DC, and National 4-H Congress.  Meet new people, learn leadership skills, improve your citizenship, talk to government officials, and have a lot of fun! 

Applications are due September 1, 2011. Don’t miss the deadline!

We are pleased that you are looking at the information to apply for the older youth awards and trips available through LincolnCounty4-H.  Please refer to Trips and Awards Information for details.

Please be sure to indicate which dates you would be available for a 10 minute interview with the committee on the first sheet of your application form.  Please feel free to look at an Selection Information and Interview Tips explaining the selection process and a list of possible interview questions.

You will need the following to assist you in applying:

• Lincoln County 4-H Trips and Awards Application Form –This form, along with the interview, is the basis for selection for all older youth awards and trips.  Please be sure to complete each section of the form completely.  Be certain to read each section and answer them completely.  If you have no information to include for a section, be sure to indicate this on your form.  A portion of the selection for awards and trips is based on your completed application, so the more information you provide the more the selection committee has to base their selections on.  Also remember to use proper grammar and correct spelling. 
• Trips and Awards Application/Interview Evaluation form – for your reference.  This is the evaluation form the selection committee will use in rating your Trips and Awards Application.  It may help to try rating your own application before you turn it in.

Your completed application is due to the UW-Extension office by September 1.  A committee will make selections by Mid October and you will be notified following selection.
