Strengthening Families Program

Parents . .  . . . .  . . .“Do you know your child’s favorite musical group?”     

Kids . . . . . . . . . . . .“Can you name a song your dad likes?”

Questions like these are from a  STRENGTHENING FAMILIES  activity that promotes fun  and communication!
 If you have been asking yourself. . . 
  ●  How can I help my son or daughter have a bright future?
  ●  How can we have fun together as a family?

♦♦ Maybe it is time for STRENGTHENING FAMILIES♦♦

A free program for BOTH parents or caregivers and their youth ages 10-14 
6-WEEK SESSION BEING OFFERED AT MINISTRY GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTH CENTER
Mondays (January 9, 16, 23, 30 & February 6, 13)—5:30 pm to 8 pm

 This program will:
•  Provide a light supper and childcare will be available for younger  children.
•  Help parents build on their strengths in showing love and  setting limits.
•  Help youth develop skills in handling peer pressure and building a positive future.
•  Strengthen family communication.
•  Help families grow together.

Pre-registration required.  Open to the first 10 families to register. Handicapped accessible.

This program is nationally recognized & has been shown to reduce substance abuse & behavior problems in adolescence.

Sponsored by UW-Extension, Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, Lincoln County HCE,  Gress Chiropractic, and Safe and Stable Families Grant.
